IRAP Assessments and Assessment Preparation

The Infosec-Registered Assessor Program (I-RAP) is an initiative of the Australian Signals Directorate and is designed to provide information security services to Australian Government agencies, in support of Australian security objectives. IRAP assessors can provide cyber security assessment services to government and organisations supplying government up to the TOP SECRET level. IRAP assessors can assess:

  • Gateways

  • information systems

  • Gatekeeper implementations

  • FedLink connections

With assessors on staff, Foresight can provide these services to business. With a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of both the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Foresight is also well placed to assist organisations with assessment preparation and compliance activities, including:

  • ISM compliant gateway and system security architecture

  • Security Risk Management Plans (SRMPs) and System Security Plans (SSPs)

DISP Membership

The Defence Industry Security Program is a program to ensure that providers to the Australian Department of Defence maintain their security responsibilities. The DISP is managed by the Defence Security Authority (DSA). All DISP members must comply with the Defence Security Manual (DSM), Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). Foresight has experience in assisting some of the largest companies in the world becoming DISP members. We can assist organisations through all steps in the process of becoming a DISP member and can assist with the implementation of robust processes to ensure a business retains its DISP membership into the future.

Gatekeeper PKI

Gatekeeper is the Australian Government strategy for the use of Public Key Infrastructure within organisations and Australian Government Agencies. Its main purpose is to provide secure authentication for the delivery of online government services. Gatekeeper is administered and maintained by the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO).
